Queensland Touch Football helping Budgy Smuggler in their fight against boardshorts in Queensland

Queensland Touch Football (QTF) is proud to announce Budgy Smuggler will join the family in 2022 as an Event Partner.

The partnerships will see Budgy Smuggler attending QTF’s key events throughout 2022 and 2023, providing the opportunity for Budgy to expand its connection to the sunny state and the touch football community.

“We are excited to welcome Budgy Smuggler into the Queensland Touch Football family. We feel the Budgy Smuggler brand has great synergies with our events in Queensland, where we focus not only on touch football but also creating a fun, engaging and relaxed atmosphere for all who attend. And really, there is nowhere better than Queensland to get around in your swimwear or Budgies,” said Greg Denny, QTF CEO.

We’re stoked to join the Queensland Touch Football family and be there at some of the biggest and best events in the QTF calendar.  It’s been great to play a part in the touch football community over the years, whether it’s custom kit for the team or wearing lucky Budgy’s on game day; we are excited to step it up a notch by officially be on board and continue to free the thighs of Queensland”, Jimmy Exelby, Budgy Smuggler Legend.

The partnership will see Budgy Smuggler attend QTF’s key events across the year including Junior State Cup, Bundaberg Cup and Casuarina Cup and will kick off the partnership at this year’s QLD State Cup on the Gold Coast.

QTF members will have the opportunity to take advantage of custom-designed swimwear and some fantastic additional opportunities at events.
